The Hamdog
From the Fine folks who brought you the Luther Burger. The Hamdog is “a half-pound of hamburger meat wrapped around a hot dog, which is deep-fried and served on a hoagie topped with chili, bacon and a fried egg,” (from their MySpace page).

Yee Haw! Bring it on!
I’m sorry, but I can’t allow you to access /music/. If I did, those dirty terrorist would win. I’ve declared Executive Privilege on this page which means I don’t have to show it to no one! Heh, heh.
I gotta protect America from the evil doers. See, this page you were trying to access had letters and numberbers. Those sneaky evil doers could have rearranged all them letters and numberbers and made some sort of code in their heebly-jeebly language. I had to take this page down to protect God fearing Americans.
The web page you were looking for is like an Iraqi WMD. People tell you it’s here. Smart people tell you it’s here. They even use fancy-shmancy links making you think it’s here. Then, when you come here, you can’t find it. Course, unlike me, you probably won’t be flying onto an aircraft carrier to declare “Mission Accomplished” but I think you get the picture.

Nerf maverick in progress
I’ve removed the pressure regulators, modified the chamber to swing all the way out, custom built a laser from a keychain laser and an aluminum box i found, rewired it so that the switch you see by the trigger turns it on, I switched out the bearing in the front from plastic to a brass fitting, added another spring on the trigger to give it better action, solidified the clutch for the trigger and the chamber revolver to be one piece, and of course lots of wiring and batteries and such, oh and the bottom light you see you can buy as an accessory except it mounts on the top where you see the little orange square I wasn’t into that so i modded it so I could have it on the bottom. I have a few other things to do and of course I’m gonna paint it.
Prehistoric Human Skull
Qafzeh, Israel, 2001
This 100,000-year-old skull was found in a cave in Qafzeh, Israel, along with other fossils, including a horse tooth and burned flints. Cutting-edge techniques were used to date the fossilsâ€â€revealing that modern humans left Africa much earlier than had been thought, even coexisting with Neanderthals, once believed to be our ancestors.

MP3 Ratings?
Dear MCS:
I’d been using winamp for years upon years, and it’s been great. I just recently found out that if you move your music collect from folder X to folder Y, you lose all your ratings information, and you will never get it back. So, I tried Media Monkey, which according to my google-fu is the only mp3 player that stores the ratings in the file itself, and not in some arbitrary xml file that get deleted everytime you sneeze.
However, I’m having trouble using MM, as it likes to just max out my cpu at 100%, and the music starts to stutter like a mother fucker. THIS is annoying to say the least. So, a litte more google-fu and everyone is raving about foobar2000. only problem? no support for file ratings afaik.
So tell me. How can I have a mp3 collection of over 40 gigs, and have the ratings in the files? Is it really so much to ask? And please, no itunes, that shit is satan.
Also, I’d love to be able to sync the songs that are top rated / top played to a usb drive, so I can play them in my truck.
Beer Street and Gin Lane
Beer Street
Beer Street and Gin Lane are a pair of 1751 engravings by William Hogarth in support of the then-proposed Gin Act 1751. This Act of Parliament made the distillation of gin illegal in England. Beer Street shows a happy city drinking the ‘good’ beverage of English beer, whereas Gin Lane claims to show what would happen if people started drinking gin, a harder liquor. People are shown as healthy, happy and hard working in Beer Street, while in Gin Lane they are scrawny, lazy and acting carelessly, including a drunk mother accidentally sending her baby tumbling to its doom.

Grand prismatic spring
Tags:Nature, Science!, Wallpaper, Yellowstone National Park
The vivid colors in the spring are the result of pigmented bacteria in the microbial mats that grow around the edges of the mineral-rich water. The bacteria produce colors ranging from green to red; the amount of color in the microbial mats depends on the ratio of chlorophyll to carotenoids. In the summer, the mats tend to be orange and red, whereas in the winter the mats are usually dark green.[5] The center of the pool is sterile due to extreme heat.
The deep blue color of the water in the center of the pool results from a light-absorbing overtone of the hydroxy stretch of water.[6] Though this effect is responsible for making all large bodies of water blue, it is particularly intense in Grand Prismatic Spring because of the high purity and depth of the water in the middle of the spring.
