    recharging an sks with stripper clips when the pressure is on has got to suck.

    Not as fast a mag change. There’s no tac reload either, but I like the fact that I can carry more ammo/ weight. Plus no mag to damage.

    I also have a CZ858 for a modern day rifle, but I prefer my sks. I’m not much of a rifleman anyways. Minute of man at 150yards is plenty for my needs.

    The wood stock has ton of movement, so I really had no choice. I have no interest in bedding an sks.

    I don’t have $$ to spend of zombie guns, SxS bird guns aren’t cheap, don’t you know.

    Spend the money saved by going tapco on training.
    Although a red dot sight on that rifle probably wouldnt hurt, SKS irons are terribad.

    I’m havin trouble identifying it, what kind of frame/stock you have? Is this a modded AK? I had to sell my socom to pay some bills =P still have the M1A however, and once the dollars start to flow again I was thinking of a J Allen frame, there newer generation stock looks pretty sick.

    You shouldn’t use a shotgun during the zombie apocalypse. All it does is give your position away to everybody and thing in a mile radius. That would be bad.

    Those are for non brain dead zombies! I also have lots of others to draw from. 12ga Bss, 12ga Citori, 20ga Aya, 2 SA 22, 1 Browning Silver, another SKS (chicom), a 700 in 243 and a CZ 858.

    Did I forget to mention my 5000rds of 7.62? And my cousin down the road also has about 3000rds.

    thats must have cost a bundle. About a year and a half ago I got 500rds .308 winchester, thats was almost 400 bucks!

    I get them for about 180 bucks for 1120 rds of the brendan primed stuff here in Canuckastein. The price of the 308 is damn expensive, that’s what keeping me from a m1a.

    you’d be surprised how quickly you chew through brass, lol, or in my case green steel case russian surplus. Unloaded damn near 900 rounds with some buddies just messing around at the range. I have a sweet little ssr-85c ak47 but I think I’d want an AR with hollow points for Z Day.

    For zed, I’ll stick with mili sup. More reliable penetration being the key, and cheap being the other.

    One of my buddy has an ar anyways, and he’s a vet from Af, I’ll just hide behind him each beans and spam.
