“Life’s tough……It’s even tougher if you’re stupid.”

Somewhere they are baby mice wondering when mommy and daddy are gonna come home.
After finding a good amount of mice droppings, and semi chewed ketchup packets in a draw in my kitchen. I decided to take action. I loaded up two old school snap traps with a bit of bread and poured ketchup on the bread. I left the traps in the draw and the next morning what i found totally caught me off guard. I guess mice have no problem with chowing down with a corpse in close proximity.
Purple Frog
The Purple frog, discovered just five years ago in western India, likely escaped detection because it lives underground, emerging for just two weeks during the monsoon season. Distinguished by a pointed snout, it’s related to a family of frogs now found only on the Seychelles islands, which split from India 100 million years ago.
Mantis Shrimp
Neither a mantis nor a shrimp, the mantis shrimp has changed little in 400 million years. It has the world’s most complex eyes, and its prey-killing claw motion is the second-fastest animal motion. To quote mantis shrimp eye researcher Tom Cronin, “Whenever they get into any type of situation, they smash things. You can’t pick these up. They’re really great animals to have around.”

Merlin
Merlin is a British television drama series based around the Arthurian legends of the mythical wizard Merlin and his relationship with Prince Arthur. This show differs significantly from more traditional versions of the myth. It airs on the BBC in the same Saturday evening family drama slot as series such as Doctor Who and Robin Hood. Merlin is a take on the Arthur story much like Smallville is a take on the Superman story. Merlin is a pretty good show if you can catch it.
Colin Morgan plays Merlin: a young sorcerer who attempts to keep his powers secret
Bradley James plays Prince Arthur: the future King of Camelot
Richard Wilson plays Gaius: Camelot’s court physician and one of the few to know Merlin’s secret
Anthony Head plays Uther Pendragon: Arthur’s father
Angel Coulby plays Guinevere (Gwen): a servant and friend to Morgana
Katie McGrath plays Morgana: King Uther’s ward (and in some legends Arthur’s half-sister)
John Hurt is the voice of the The Great Dragon: Merlin’s mentor and one of the few to know his secret
First Photos from Tarantino’s Inglourious Bastards!
During World War II a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “the Basterds” are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.
Looks good to me. Can’t wait for the trailer.
Also a remake of a 1987 Italian War movie directed by Enzo G. Castellari. Never seen it.

Site Move sucessful, but with one small problem…
Ok, man that was exciting wasn’t it?! Everything’s over here on the new server now, and golly it sure is nice here! I’ve got everything working on MCS except for one small problem, in that none of the scheduled posts are posting when they’ve been scheduled to. I’ll try to figure that out, if anyone has any ideas, feel free to shout them out in the comments.
As for all the other TWG sites, they’re also on the new dedicated machine, happilly humming along, with one small exception: internet-d and imageleech.net are both being held up at customs. internet-d due to it being within the 60 day registration period, so it can’t be moved until December 16th, and imageleech due to the fact that it’s registered through a third party, and I have to wait till it’s transfered to godaddy before it can go live on the new TWG dedicated machine.
It was a sober exciting weekend for me, how about you?

Yikes!
Krampus
Every year on the 5th of December, there is this tradition that Austrians and people of other Germanic countries like to follow. Volunteers dress up as what we call, a Krampus [spelled Krampusz] which is also known as the Companions of Saint Nicholas.
“They wear goat-hair costumes and carved masks, carrying bundles of sticks used as switches, and swinging cowbells to warn of their approach. They are typically young men in their teens and early twenties and are generally intoxicated. They roam the streets of small quiet towns and hit people with their switches. It is not considered wise for young women to go out on this night, as they are popular targets.”
In my hometown, they sometimes even force you to get down on your knees and say a prayer.
I think I’m staying home tonight.
