I played HvZ (humans vs Zombies) at Penn State last semester and gonna do it again this fall. I have one of these too. I’ve modded it (it kinda sucks stock), AR removal, chamber swing, trigger fix, put 3 pennies behind the main spring, put an air restrictor spring in from of the chamber to push it back for a slightly better seal. The laser with the nice integrated switch is awesome, I’d do it but then the gun wouldn’t be approved for HvZ use cause of Penn State’s stupid policy against laser pointers.

Yeah right on, heres a video of the gun now that I’ve added a few more things, kind of crazy, but it’s just so moddable. Heres the list right now of what I have done:

1. removed the air suppressors
2. modded it so the chamber swings all the way out
3. added a spring to the front of the chamber
3. glued the clutch for the rotation mechanism to the gear so it spins better
4. added a spring to the trigger to give it better action
5. done the penny add for the main spring
6. custom built a laser sight from a pen laser, a electrical project box I found and a switch (that’s the switch by the trigger)
7. mounted the night light to the bottom instead of the top where it goes
8. added a light, a microswitch and all the necessary wiring and chamber redesign so that each dart will activate a light
9. replaced the front chamber bearing with a brass bearing
10. installed a switch on the side of the bottom light for the chamber leds
11. and most difficult modified the chamber and gun in such a way as to power the spinning chamber while its moving

The gun weighs about twice the normal weight, it contains 2 AA batteries, 2 AAA batteries and 2 smaller laser pin size batteries along with all the wiring necessary. Pretty much all I have to do left is paint it.

Oh and no special ammo, it will fire both the original nerf darts and the better smaller micro darts, though with all the camber modifications that I’ve done I’m only slightly better then stock now instead of extremely better as far as distance goes, but all the weight seems to help with accuracy, less recoil if you would believe it.

Hey yeah glad you all liked the collection, I have more then that, but i didn’t want to put up too many pics. To Vutterfly I can’t believe you let your 4 year old play with your technodrome, its a pretty rare toy. I mean me and the 8 year old play with my toys all the time, but hes 8 and his been surrounded by the toys his whole life and know respect.

Oh and obviously i don’t have any kids, just me and my wife in our 4 bedroom house in Oregon. Anyone ever in the neighborhood and want to check them out let me know.

I actually already have plans set up to be buried with an original diecast voltron.

It took me three weeks to pack up the room when we bought the new place, I keep all the boxes so everything went back in the box and then that box went in another box.

Battle Beasts are awesome, sweet that you had all of them, I go through phases of collecting, right now i’m finishing the Star Wars part of it, I’m 9 away from having everything ship ever made. I think next I’m gonna get the entire G1 transformer line. I have a myspace page if anyones interested.

Yeah i found mine in mint condition with all the instruction manuals at a swap meet, and I bought a 1978 x-wing complete from a thrift store for 5 dollars, location isn’t always an indicator of worth. Ask any collector they will have a story for you of some crazy find, hell i have an original Takatoku valkerie in the original box that i picked up for 35 bucks, these things just happen
