    How come the far right keeps accusing the left of running pedophile rings but it’s always people on the right actually doing this shit? And whenever this kind of thing happens there’s no response from the far right. It’s almost like they don’t actually give a shit about actually protecting children from predators. If they did, they’d be protesting Catholic churches every Sunday, and calling out people like Roy Moore and (supposedly) Matt Gaetz, not looking for non-existent basements in pizza parlors.

    I know. Weird, right? I’m so damned old, I remember one instance, oh, it was… what?… way back in January, on the sixth, if memory serves, when a bunch of GQP/”Blue Lives Matter” folks were trying to gouge out the eyes of Capitol Police Officers. It’s *almost* as if they never meant any of the things they said.

    Bet you didn’t know Republicans had absolutely no enthusiasm or support for Roy Moore the first time around (which is why Doug Jones won in an otherwise solidly red state) and then Moore lost pretty thoroughly to Tommy Tuberville in the primary in 2020.

    As for the congressman who looks like the villain from Lazy Town, hopefully they’ll bring actual evidence about him sleazing around with a 17 year old. If not, expect a belated correction somewhere on page 30 (and certainly not the front page).

    honestly, it seems like every time someone suggests that he tried to snorkel them another piece of progressive action is taken, so eventually NY will be back to being properly progressive AND he’ll get kicked to the curb
