    minds , people , times , what hasn’t changed. grow the fuck up. a soldier who entered the army at the beginning of the Afghanistan war would have reached 20 year retirement and been “at war” their entire military career , to accomplish nothing . . . that is fucking INSANE.

    You seem to be confused. Saying something must be done and then changing your mind based on new evidence is one thing. Saying this one thing must be done and then later saying that one thing was never the goal is contradictory as makes you look like you’re trying to cover for your mistakes or maybe just forgot what you said in the first place.

    I don’t have any god idols so your whole argument is invalid. we know it just burns you up inside that he’s gotten us out of afghanistan like the majority of americans wanted. people wanted , biden delivered. when did trump do anything the MAJORITY of americans wanted?

    Biden could tweet out tomorrow that the US was never in Afghanistan and you’d be all “Well, if Joe says so…!”. You know he was laughed out the race in 1988 for being a self-aggrandising liar, right? Now it’s fine though because he’s also in steep cognitive decline.

    Doing things the majority of Americans want? So, little buddy… that’s just not how the Democrats operate either. You never asked yourself why it’s weird how Republicans are able to enact incredibly unpopular policies everywhere they hold power, but Democrats are unable to do wildly popular things even in places where they hold super-majorities? It’s absurd how Democrats always act powerless… they control the House, Senate and White House! They could pass a living wage, codify Roe v Wade, make healthcare a human right but instead they just keep making excuses and finding scapegoats so they can govern for their corporate donors, don’t they?

    59% of Americans want the minimum wage raised to $15, but what was the excuse for that? Was that “But the Parliamentarian…!”? Sad.

    80% of Americans want M4A! Biden promised to personally veto that one because it costs too much. They happily increased the military budget by billions again last week, but healthcare in the middle of pandemic? Joe says no! Got to think about all that insurance donor money!

    It’s debatable whether Democrats are a functioning party at all or just a conglomerate of people who simply aren’t registered Republicans. Say what you want about Trump, but I’ve never seen a scenario where Republicans controlled Congress and allowed two of their own senators to sink their president’s agenda. Explain that, oh wise one.

    Fuck y’all. My sister medically retired (fire extinguisher induced asthma, stress fracture, and PTSD) with a tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan, and my BIL (her husband) with a tour in each (and very worse PTSD).

    So, people crap on Biden for leaving Afghanistan, to follow on the agreement that Trump brokered to leave by May 2021; The agreement that the US followed through on. The one that Biden “had” (quotations noted) to follow to stay with current aggrements with other nations.

    I left in 2003 because I became aware that there was no [exploitative deleted] reason for George the Lesser for going into Iraq. The War on “Terror” was use as a gossamer excuse to go into an unrelated country because George Jr’s handlers wanted to go there.

    cheney and rumsfeld were not going to let that bone with iraq go. they wanted full war the first time but senior bush stopped where the international support stopped. when jr got in they knew it was going to be their chance to finish the job.
