.22 caliber? You better hit something important if your that close. Otherwise you just really pissed them off worse. I’ve been hit by .22s in the arm and shoulder, they had zero stopping power.
Thus the phrase “Point Blank” on the barrel. You do not shoot from 20ft away to stop a charging linebacker, this is for putting up against an eye or ear and shooting directly into the brain. The Mafia and KGB used .22’s for decades as quiet close-up asassination weapons.
My hits were from inches away( bar brawl gone bad). That’s why I said they have to be important targets, like the brain or heart, to do anything other than get you killed.
