False. Jesus was a Carpenter, and thus, a singer songwriter with many hits in the 70’s. He was not however, the son of God, because he would have resurrected his sister Karen if he was.

Incorrect. Jesus was referred to as a ‘teknon’ most directly translated to “hand man” or laborer. The carpentry story was added later by the church, even though it completely confuses their own story (carpentry was a solidly middle-class profession, which undercuts Jesus’ supposed humble origins).

“Teknon” means “child”. The word the bible uses is “Tekton”. “Tekton” could mean a builder, but most generally means ‘carpenter’. Jesus was from a small town that mostly built with wood at the time, so there’s little chance he was a mason, the other dominating meaning. Here are hundreds of examples of the word “tekton” used in pre-biblical sources. Judge for yourself: http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/wordfreq?lang=greek&lookup=te%2Fktwn
