Lestat would eat Edward for lunch. Sad part is someone finally came along more trite and lame than Rice for vampire novels…
He would not east Edward for lunch, as vampires don’t actually exist.
My fave vampires would be Pandora, Magnus and Gabrielle from Rice’s books. Bill Compton from True Blood, Deacon Frost from Blade and Nosferatu played by Klaus Kinski and my new favorite is Lina Leandersson as Eli in LÃ¥t den rätte komma in. I’m sure I’m missing some.

This is actually my current favorite portrayal of vampires. Not as some merry band of adventures who don’t go out in the sun, but as a true outcast in society who has to rely on others. BAD FUCKING ASS movie. Seriously, go watch it, and for those who don’t want to translate it: Let the Right One In.” The right one is this movie.
But not just rely on others, they also provide their caretakers when needed.
Let’s be honest here. If you where a vampire trapped outside on a bright sunny day, would you rather burst into horrible painful flames, or sparkle like a lopsided disco ball?
Everytime I see some Twilight merchandising, I remember how good Buffy was…
