Captain hindsight is just the best personification of the idiot fodder media.
Always saying people should have spotted stuff or had systems in place to prevent it – no shit… lets have the hindsight to not let anyone ever take any items onto a plane, ever – hey presto problem solved.

Sort of. Some of his points just stopped short of being right.
The need for fail-safes was hindsight. BP did have fail-safes, but didn’t bother to see if they were functional (didn’t bother changing the batteries in one system, IIRC).

I loved BP changing its name to DP and the the show the big, no giant, no super humongous drills – strategically placed. At least, I hope the DP was on purpose.
