  1. Wow, this is very eye-opening. This says a lot.

  2. Looks like horseshit to me, cross between guesswork and wishful thinking.

  3. I’ve seen this before and want to say it’s originally a nasa photo. But the wildfire and fishing fleet lights have been added.

  4. If you go to the website, you’ll see that all of the data is from NOAA and based on satellite measurement. None of the lights are ‘real’ in the sense that you would see exactly that from space.

  5. So many wildfires in China..

  6. kero (UID# 64) Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

also apparently Canada doesnt have any lights?

  7. The part of Canada that has lights is lit up on the map. If you ever play Know Your Current Events, pick Know Your Cuts of Meat, because you don’t seem to Know Your Canadian Geography.

  8. It looks like a good portion of africa is on fire. You would think it would be in the news

  9. @Kero
Yeah, why aren’t there any lights on Antarctica either?

Plus I just went and shined my flashlight up in the sky so the next one of these they do I better see it.

  10. I think those are supposed to be campfires, not wildfires.

  11. But not real ones, just someone with a spraycan in MS Paint.
