Also chose the car. It never ultimately mattered because we played with “house rules” which meant the game never naturally ended. We’d just have to see who had the most assets once we got tired of playing.
EVERYONE played by House Rules. Free Parking isn’t supposed to come with a cash reward, you don’t have to go around the board once before buying anything, you are allowed to refuse to buy a property (this triggers an auction), you are under no obligation to upgrade your houses to hotels (this REALLY screws over the other players)…
