Occupation: Rainfall: Directed by Luke Sparke. With Dan Ewing, Temuera Morrison, Daniel Gillies, Lawrence Makoare. Two years after aliens land on Earth, survivors from Sydney, Australia, fight in a desperate war as the number of casualties continue to grow.

Is this a sequel? Maybe? I don’t think it really matters, as they cover pretty much everything that happened previously in a voice over. This is a great straight to video film with surprisingly high quality special effects, a mediocre story, terrible acting, and awe inspiring ambitions. At the end of the day it misses a few things it shoots for, but if you’re a fan of military science fiction (or Temuera Morrison, who appears towards the end) this will scratch the itch in the same way that Skylines did.
