I don’t do that. I package the leftovers carefully in icebox dishes. And I’m usually the one who cooked it.
Why get more dishes dirty when you can just whip this dude out, heat it up, munch, and THEN wash what you’ve used? Plus, I cooked it to begin with, so….
in my case I like to split them up so I have better portion control, i’m normally doing the splitting when I’m full of the meal and have more logical control over the situation, lol.
Also, I usually cook enough for 3 or 4 meals.
The refridgerator is only the halfway house to the garbage can for leftovers…
