    Work at a bank. Can confirm. Nothing sucks more than having a customer come in asking for quarters to do laundry and not being to help out more than a single roll of quarters. (and my branch has been lucky with other customers turning in their piggy banks… some branches have nothing).

    this is really surprising to me, but I guess it makes sense.

    that being said though, I have like $200 in change in a piggy bank, so once my local banks start offering that 5% bonus, I’m gonna cash in, lol

    They deliberately made all the new quarters “collectible” by putting different scenes on the back… and they’re complaining because we keep them?
