    Healthcare professionals, even the semi-retarded nurses, go through years of expensive secondary education to become skilled workers.
    The mentally disable and those with no education regularly get jobs at grocery stores. One type of work is worth more than the other. Also consider supply and demand; plenty of red hats want to work and don’t care about the repercussions for themselves or others.
