The feds and locals were operating on a tip that guns were being manufactured there. The resident has a federal firearms dealer license, and he’s apparently well off. The dealer was released on a $50K bond.
The FEDs couldn’t check their records and see that the resident has a federal firearms dealer license BEFORE they raided?
CA has a pretty rock solid law against the manufacture and sale of anything larger than 50 cal, which is what he was suspected of selling.
