This year’s olympics have been worse than usual, lots of talking without saying a damned thing. I wished they would just shut up and let the sports happen.

The DVR and Fast Forward are my friends. I can watch four hours of the Olympics in about an hour.
I still remember the announcers for the opening ceremonies. Remember the SNL sketch “The Delicious Dish?” It was exactly like that: two painfully unfunny women suffering from delusions of broadcast adequacy. Except the SNL sketch was using that fact as the entire joke.
