It’s odd to see such a low brow movie make such an impact on the the cinematic scene, I had high hopes for PB:MC2, and was amazed when it blew me away in every possible opportunity. Many have complained about how complicated the timeline and associated storylines are, but luckily they managed to keep it clear enough for first timers to keep track of what’s going on. I did have some trouble with the German language only scenes, but luckily there were contextual clues as to what was going on. I’m excited to see what’s next for the Paul Blart movie universe, I hear there’s a rumored PB:MC Cinematic Universe, much like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. My only concern is how those films are going to be able to bring the thunder without direct involvement of Kevin James as the titular Paul Blart?
…should i go see it?
it’s out for download/streaming now, if you can grab it for less than $3 I highly suggest it, it’s a thinking man’s comedy though, so go in with your brain turned on and ready to be used.
Somehow, I suspect treachery…
