Believe it or not, this is meant to be a teleplasmic (ectoplasmic) voice box. These bizarre, allegedly paranormal extrusions were also called pseudopods.

    Great stuff. Not many people know Houdini had a movie career. The Master Mystery serial contains cinema’s first robot. Check him/her/it out at 7.30.

    Yep. Watched it. Very enjoyable, but Adrian Brody is all wrong physically. Too tall and angular. Having said that, he’s very good in it.
