Audio book is epic
I loved this, lulled a bit in the middle for me but overall, great. However, I thought the Zombie Survival Guide was tits 11/10.

@...Skulltimo: nah, Zombie survival guide only gets 9/10 from me. The advice on vehicles fails. Pickups and suvs useless? a bicycle is the best transport/getaway vehicle? Ok he is biased by traffic in NYC, but not everyone lives at Zombie central.
As with those so far, this and the Survival Guide are awesome. Max Brooks will be an author to watch for some time.
Seriously, the recounting of the battle at Hope, New Mexico? Fucking epic.
I can’t wait until the movie version of this comes out. Considering the author’s father, it’s probably only a matter of time.

read it about 3 years ago ish and i love it so much.
Brad Pitt outbid Leonardo DiCaprio for production rights – thank goodness! Brooks (the author) has said that he loves the script and wants Pitt to play a part in the movie. All that, whatever. The book was amazing!
