The Megalodon is an ancient species of shark about 18 million years old. The photos were taken, by the submitter, at the Buena Vista Museum in Bakersfield California where some of the best Meaglodon teeth have been recovered just a few miles away at “shark tooth hill”.

Meh, they’re just trying to impress. The “great” white inside the mouth is less than 7 feet long.

Still pretty impressive, but not as much as they’d have you believe.

Turns out it’s not a size comparison at all:

    Megalodon jaws and model

“The model is not a scale model of a great white shark relative to Megalodon, but rather a representation of what it may have looked like in life”.

A 50-foot-long shark with jaws like those does not NEED hyperbole.

    We’re going to need a bigger boat….

Great, now everyone is going to be pointing at that leaky ceiling.

Good to see all of those teeth hanging above you on a rotting ceiling.

natedog: I’m not sure I’d tell an animal that has a dick bigger than Gunface’s mom to suck my dick.

nyokki: You must not be familiar with the singing shark. He’s quoting the animal.

Aquarium in Baltimore has a set of Megalodon jaws you can walk through. Pretty damn impressive.

    Phyreblade

    SumoSnipe: We need bigger guns…

nyokki: Somehow, I don’t believe Mr. Megalodon would be particularly concerned…

    nyoki

    Gouki4u: Doesn’t change anything.
