Fact Check fail - Actually, Obama issued a presidential memorandum dated December 15, 2009, formally closing the detention center and ordering the transfer of prisoners to the Thomson Correctional Center, Thomson, Illinois. Congress then put provisions into the 2011 Defense Authorization Bill which place restrictions on the transfer of Guantánamo prisoners to the mainland or to other foreign countries, thus preventing the closure of the detention facility. Obama is still trying. Whackjob conspiracy theories aside, The US didn't start a war in Libya it was a popular revolt - the US supplied planes to the UN for use in maintaining a no-fly zone over parts of the country. Obama won the Nobel in 2009 for fighting nuclear proliferation, not the war against the Taliban. And are you really saying that targeting Al-Qaeda and Taliban militants in Pakistan (or wherever) is a bad thing? I guess we should wait until they bomb the Pentagon and then blame Obama for not doing enough for national defense. And wasn't the war against the Taliban started by one of those Bush guys, anyway? Conservative propaganda - just make stuff up and hope nobody bothers to check. FYI - Obama isn't a Muslim, either. Never was.

   Just why is the Getty Images Photographer, Jamie Sabau who took the shot, who is normally a Sports Photographer, at a Political Rally on a Friday?
   Why can nobody else be found who also saw this person?
   Why is there only the ONE Image, instead of the half dozen (or more) that a Professional would take to make sure of getting a salable shot?

     You’re full of shit, don’t try to act like Obama race has never been used as an insult; there have been countless instances of right-wing media outlets using his race to criticise him.
     I think that’s overestimating your own party to saying that it’s “obviouslya plant”, there’s plenty of video of pretty genuine looking Republican supporters holding racist signs and wearing racist t-shirts at Republican rallies.
     Do you honestly think thatLiberal supporters have nothing better to do than go around to Tea Party rallies and sully their “good reputation”?That just seems sort of self deluded to me.

     Getty images isn’t exactly known for photoshoping images and then releasing them with the photog’s name attached. And as a news photographer if he faked it his career is over, so I doubt he did that either.

     Actually, these were rather common a while ago on Zazzle with Sarah Palin’s picture on them. And remember the “don’t re-nig in 2012″ bumper stickers that went around?

     Nothing new here – its just surprising anyone notices.

     America was founded on the principle of religious liberty for those worshiping a monotheistic God, all the way back to the earliest colonies.

   The Native Americans attacked other tribes, invaded each others’ territory and stole each others’ resources too. They were doing the same thing before the “paleface” showed up.

   There’s a difference between today’s illegal immigrants invading an already developed nation that has built itself into a world superpower, and the Colonists claiming land that was all but barren save for scattered nomad savages.

     That’s what always gets me. People who think they’re so enlightened and clever for regurgitating the idiotic sound bite ” we’re all immigrants”.
     Mexicans are Spanish in the same way Americans are English. They’re illegal immigrants X2 then? And ya they’re not showing up to a political, economic, and ready built infrastructure. If any Mexicans or Chinese wants to try starting their own city out in a forest go the fuck ahead. Hell go fight the natives for their reservation land. That would make for a more appropriate scenario.

       Adam & Eve are listed as having three children named Cain, Abel and Seth, then “other sons and daughters” (Genesis 5:4, NIV)
