I thought his crown was more prickly thorns than a ten ton hat (sporting the instrument that tortured him to death) made out of gold.

I think this statue is located in Poland and will be 33 meters tall (one meter for every year of his life).

That’s awesome.

I want to see a bigger Jesus. 500 feet tall and facing Saudi Arabia and giving the finger. Or even better on the moon and visible from earth. That’ll show everyone who the real God is. We need more religious imagery on military weapons too. It’ll make a lot of shit more acceptable like killing terrorists or people who smell like them.

Having a big statue doesn’t make your god real (cue rambling whine how maggie isn’t a christian). It just means that your fellow followers felt that spending money on a tourist trap was more important than feeding the poor and destitute.

If the statue had appeared miraculously, ex nihilo, that would be potential evidence of a real god, not another bunch of kid diddlers with too much money and not enough sense.
