An awesome graphic novel which is currently being made into a movie. It actually looks like it could be good.

afaik, they’ve completely removed the superhero / villian thing from the storyline, which is kinda like removing the Super from Superman, and expecting it to be the same movie. wtf?

They did, Tiki. Also, they made the Fraternity the good guys. The whole appeal of the comic was that, not only did the bad guys win, but they won close to twenty years ago, and this is *their* story.
Like all comic-based movies, I’m hopeful, yet cautious (See: Spider-Man 3.)

Yeah, I’m interrested to see what they’ve done but I understand that the book can’t really be turned into a movie as is. Although, if they were to really be true to the book I would expect something like a darker Hellboy, but that’s not what it looks like so far.

Considering I found the book to be rubbish, perhaps the movie will entertain me more. I kind of doubt it.

More like a terrible comic made into a more terrible movie.
