If that’s not shopped, then there’s something wrong with that White. His mouth would be wide friggin open if it came out of the water like that. Sharks don’t just jump out like dolphins unless they want to eat something or someone… and that shark doesn’t look like he wants to eat the surfer.

No, LordSethD. I was there when this happened.

The shark doesn’t want to eat the surfer. Just like those lovers running towards each other on the beach deals: some slow, swelling music and slo-mo into the shark’s warm embrace – so romantical.
The cuddling shot, well, the photographer’s a professional damn you and is sick and tired of all the ‘it’s shopped’ cynics. Call it an artistic sulk.

See, this is a still picture, and the act of biting requires the mouth to be open, and then to close. Ergo, just because in a still picture, the mouth is closed, doesn’t mean he didn’t just try to bite that seal surfer.

Shopped. Look at the edges and coloring of the water around the shark. A lot of fake crap around the fin, too. Pretty good job, tho.

Stupid sharks and their ridiculous financing.
March 3, 2011 at 9:07 pm
You’re all wrong, the shark is just body-surfing and the surfer got in his way.
