fuck, there are just too many superman-batman fight scenes for them being such good friends… i bet there is much envy and secret affairs…
It’s from the Batman: Hush storyline. Batman had tracked Poison Ivy to Metropolis, and it turns out she’d taken control of Superman.
Luckily, batman’s so paranoid, anytime he goes to Metropolis he brings his kryptonite ring (the ring was originally Lex Luthor’s, but Supes gave it to Bats in case he should ever go bad or be taken over).
