    A sacrifice offered to make it look like a problem with an individual and not the system.

    You mean that they offered up an Officer of the Law that demonstrated depraved indifference to a ward under his care (once the arrest was initiated, his arrestee was solely under his care)?

    I am cool with the Idea that if we have Militarized our Peace Keeping Officers, then I am cool with subjecting them to the UMCJ (like I potentially was (honorable discharge)). Things will improve when his immediate superior and his superior’s superior are also on trial for the actions of an underling.

    You can delegate authority, but you cannot delegate responsibility. Until Chauvin’s superior is the next person on the docket, there will be little change.
