Classic film, love the ending. Nothing excuses what he did with Gailey. He’s been removed from the US Film hall of fame thingy I see, last year. He’s a complex person. I can still enjoy his films, no problem. It’s not that he’s an auteur, or what happened to Sharon Tate and their unborn child, it’s where he came from.
