If that thing is capable of firing real bullets, it’s illegal. Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988. Signed into law by Ronald Reagan. Because even the god of the Republicans realized that rights should come with reasonable limitations. If you need a fully-functional gun that won’t set off a metal detector, you are up to no good.
I very much doubt it, unless its made from “ironwood”, or uses magic to “ignite the bullet”.
