Yeah he has a family. It’s the main reason why he stopped doing Stargate series. He listed that as why he stopped the show. He had spent 10 years on the show, and that took up allot of his time, and he was missing his kids growing up. Sad to see him let himself go though. He’s a really funny guy.

I didn’t know people still drove or owned station wagons anymore though. Thought those all died during Y2K.

They’ve had a resurgence. A more recent pick of him at ComicCon suggests he lost weight (or this is a misleading picture).

Leaving the show also allows him to work more for the five or six environmental, child help, and special olympic charities. I’ve met him at a few water quality meetings. He’s a really friendly guy. Not surprised he doesn’t feel the need for a fancy car.
