But it does take balls to take on someone as dangerous as Machida on your retirement fight. I’m sure he could have used his clout to get a weaker fighter if he wanted to.
Randy wanted to go out either defeating top 5 talent or out on his shield while attempting to do so. The man didn’t want any wins handed to him and he is a credit to the sport.
