I live in China, and I see kids wearing shirts all the time, and they have no idea what they mean. In fact, when they buy the shirts, they don’t even read it, they just “like the design”. It’s the same thing we do with Chinese/Japanese characters, so I’m not judging them or anything, but you should see some of the shirts that I see around here.
