That quote was originated by a Libertarian, so you can add a donkey to that image as well. What’s the Libertarian logo? A V for Vendetta mask?

    ha! it should be!

The Libertarian logo should be a kid taking his ball and going home.

Threads like this make me want to be a Republican apologist.

There are actual Republicans out there. I’m talking about actual conservatives who have real convictions and beliefs. I may not agree with everything they say, but at least they have a semblance of rationality.

Unfortunately the recent majority of Republicans are just knee-jerk xenophobes who are convinced gays and coloreds are out to get them.

There WERE real republicans out there, before the party sold out to the religious right, the racists and the conspiracy Loons like Glenn Beck. I remember the days of William F. Buckley when the Republican party was known for sound logic and careful reasoning. Even if you disagreed with them you had to admire them. They had class and education, while the Dems were long haired hippies stoned or drunk most of the time.

Now the Republican motto seems to be “make some bullshit up and see if we can stick it to the other guy”.

There was a time when “Obama is a Muslim” or “Obama was born in Nigeria” or “death panels” would never have lasted ten minutes, now it seems it’s the party’s core values. Damn embarrassing if you ask me.

Everyone who I would have considered a Republican in the 70’s now call themselves “fiscally conservative independent”. Sorry to say I’m one of them.

I don’t. I remember anyone can go out in public. That always reminds me
