    one for input (where the internet comes from), the other five being the “5-Port Hub”

    Hubs in large networks are teh suck. Forwarding broadcast storms is bad.

    Last two ports are the mutually exclusive, one just has a crossover hard wired into it. And hubs don’t only suck on large networks, they also suck on any network since 1995. (Switches are dirt cheap now)

    You had to have a hub to make ShowEQ work back in the day – still have my 10 year old 5 port hub just for nostalgia.

    It’s an uplink port, come on guys. It’s wired crossover so you can plug two hubs together without a crossover cable.
