I actually liked it a lot, not a huge special effects budget, but the acting was pretty good.
Also, who is the black chick? I don’t remember her from season 1?
Uh, thirdly, Captain Jack Harkness is sort of a ripoff of Mal, but in a good way.
I like it. It amuses me. The black chick is the character Martha Jones from Doctor Who, played by Freema Agyeman. Just another of the Doctors cast-offs.
I just wish there were more cute Welsh men in the show. The lack of cute men upsets me.
Hey, the Doctor Who series is great fun, which is what it’s always been about. Torchwood is somewhat darker and takes itself more seriously.
It’s the gay Dr. Who.
Literally, as in there is a homosexual scene in every other episode, and figuratively as in the juvenile insult as it is pretty crap.
Do not watch if you are a homophobe or so far into the closet your dancing with fauns. But for the rest of us, it’s a damn good show (most of the time). Who doesn’t like watching two hot chicks make out. But enough about Ianto and Jack.
I liked it, but not like I liked Doctor Who. Needs more Tennant.

And the monsters are silly.
Yeah, we should get rid of it and have more great shows like “the Hills”, “Gossip Girl”,or “One Tree Hill”. Those shows are GREAT!

Torchwood is great! Doctor Who is fantastic and has been around since ’63. There is nothing horrible about Dr. Who, the only horrible thing I can conceive is Russell T. Davies. His biggest crime is snubbing Richard E. Grant as the 9th Doctor. Granted Christopher Eccleston can be a great actor and made a fine Doctor. However, he went in stating he would only do 1 season, thanks for nothing. Richard E. Grant would have given us more than 1 season, and thus not wasting a regeneration on a 1 season actor. I for one don’t have an issue with the sexuality. The only people who do, have issues or uncertainties of their own. Also remember the show is from the UK, where sexuality is not repressed, unlike yanks.
