It’s a detective story told in a film noir style set in a highschool.
Weird but utterly brilliant.
Ya that movie kicks ass.
It was made for 400K too which is amazing. It got a limited release last year.
It’s sort of like The Maltese Falcon in terms of the language but with some Twin Peaks aesthetic and a high school setting.

It gave me a headache. But I guess if you like film noir and high school kids go for it.
Good thing there are no good actors in this movie, wouldn’t want their valuable hands scorched by the iPhone.

I don’t get the “scorched hands” comment.You guys are aware that only unlocked by haxxie iphones were bricked then unbricked. Meaning, making your at&t phone a t-mobile phone. nothing to do with hardware. oh and no thanks on the movie.
The “scorched hands” thing is about the battery in the iPhone exploding, not about hacking it.
It’s a good movie, not great.

Imagine the Maltese falcon crossed with rugrats, and you will understand the level this film is written at. Make sure to toss in some really awkward dialoge!

Brick was a great movie. Well, except I had to watch it with subtitles because I didn’t understand what anybody was saying.
