I’m from the Twin Cities. Not funny…or at least entirely too soon to be funny. Life of Brian is funny because none of us lost friends to the Romans. I know people who were on that bridge.
Stuff it noodles, not everyone has to be bummed out. I second the notion of failbridge and welcome it into the lexicon of such greats as lolcat and the like.

8870949, I’m not asking everybody to be bummed about it, I’m just stating my belief that it’s too soon. Also, adding failbridge to something is just along for ride, and will be forgotten long before it has a chance to become a part of teh lexicon.
