Ebola virus, causing outbreaks of fatal infection, is transmitted from infected animals such as fruit bats, chimpanzees, and monkeys to humans via their blood, secretions, and meat. Sudden onset of fever, fatigue, headache, that progresses to vomiting, diarrhea, and bleeding inside and outside the body. There is no proven treatment available. Supportive care includes maintaining electrolyte balance (by providing intravenous fluids), oxygen level and blood pressure.
