I was able to get through so many so quickly because I just ran into my first experiments with having the NSFW notification posts on the front page, but apparently did not have them tagged at all.  Easy to tag all of those 😛  Also, I was able to edit the WordPress post edit page to remove the author list and post meta sections, as for some stupid reason WP wanted to load all 115,000+ users every time the edit screen was loaded.
