Directed by Princeton Holt. With Dean Cain, Stormi Maya, Stefanie Bloom, Devin Fuller. A family man struggling to hold it all together discovers a hidden parlor that offers a solution…sexbots.

A movie about sex robots that ultimately has nothing to do with sex robots, but more to do with how to be truthful to yourself and how to be truthful to those around you. There’s some awkward points in the film with some scenes that just felt like the b-team was doing the editing, but I appreciated it for what they were trying to say.

    Rambo Last Blood

Directed by Adrian Grunberg. With Sylvester Stallone, Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adriana Barraza. Rambo must confront his past and unearth his ruthless combat skills to exact revenge in a final mission.

Is this it? The Final Rambo Movie?

Maybe, but at this point Stallone could be using a walker and still give a good performance as a conflicted vet who just wants to live his life and be respected by the people around him. “Last Blood” is more torture porn like the previous film, but it wears that badge proudly.

    Color Out of Space

Directed by Richard Stanley. With Nicolas Cage, Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Elliot Knight. A secluded farm is struck by a strange meteorite which has apocalyptic consequences for the family living there and possibly the world.

Adapted from a Lovecraft story, so you know that there’s going to be some real mind breaking storypoints and that by the end of the story pretty much everyone involved is going to be dead, dying, or in an insane asylum. That all holds to be true here, with some really impressive visuals to boot. I was also impressed with the sound design and score too.

It has Nicolas Cage acting crazy, which is the best kind of Nicolas Cage acting.

    Contagion

Directed by Steven Soderbergh. With Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow. Healthcare professionals, government officials and everyday people find themselves in the midst of a worldwide epidemic as the CDC works to find a cure.

I feel like I’ve seen this before, which is likely considering the cast, but I didn’t remember much about it , it was released before I was logging movies, and with the novel corona virus tearing through the world….

This is a good movie. It’s scary as shit, but it’s good. I could actually see this moving being a prequel to games like The Division or The Division 2.

    Tom Clancy’s The Division 2

Played from a third-person perspective, the game takes place in Washington D.C., in which a civil war between survivors and villainous bands of marauders breaks out. In the game, players can cooperate with each other to complete objectives. The game will also feature raids, which can be completed by up to 8 players.

I’m at the end game now, which is where my interest in these types of games falls right off, as I’m not really interested in doing the same events over and over again and PVP has no interest to me at all. I really enjoyed my run to the end game though, I’m a huge fan of the franchise and what’s being done story wise, and the game feels absolutely solid.
