The 'problem' with Classical music is that there are so many styles. My favourite composers would be Beethoven, Tchaikovsy, Ravel, Holst, Jenkins, Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov, Sibelius... the list goes on. Not so much Mozart, etc as I find the earlier efforts to be too mathematical. I prefer the longer sweeping melodies (which might explain my penchant for the earlier Pink Floyd), And, of course, any favourites are determined by my mood at the time. - Comment on The Infinite Thread Part 6 (2025-06-29 01:16:13)
Without sounding sycophantic, I actually enjoy browsing 'MyConfinedSpace' on a daily basis. It never ceases to amaze me the creativeness of the human spirit and this site displays oodles of it, across a wide spectrum of beliefs, philosophies, politics and artistic endeavours. And music, especially Classical music - the stuff that can be extremely emotive without having to resort to words.
