I used to work at a few Carmikes as a projectionist. Trust me when I say that this was intentional. Only 1 in 10 managers actually climb up to change the marquee, the rest of the time it's one of the minimum wage doormen (ushers) that get to do it. If the boss doesn't like it, then they can try to do it themselves since most of the time you can't convince anyone to climb/re-climb rickity half-bent ladders that are 15-20ft+ above concrete or asphalt to redo them, especially for like $5 an hour (at the time.) Then there's the other times where it's the manager that's doing that just for the laughs. When "Blow" came out, we had lots of fun with those combinations.

Mine cost me $199. I don't have to worry about the ring bending or being scratched, etc. I would have to maybe worry if some accident happened and my finger started to swell, but they apparently make some sort of breaking spot in the ring or the docs are supposed to have gear that can remove it fairly easy enough. I used to work at some movie theaters and the xenon bulbs in the projectors used tungsten tips that would arc the electric current (about 3 or 4 inches long and 1 inch thick.) That shit was dense as hell and even had droplets of melted tungsten formed on it from the heat. So anyways, after that, I thought the metal was awesome as hell. Then I found out rings were made out of it and had my wedding ring made from tungsten.
