The Black Dossier is full of homages and references to different literature, so if this text is taken from that I am not surprised. The grammar used is Newspeak, the language used in Orwell's 1984. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Newspeak_words

It's two pairs of shoes. One ugly pair of high heels and some cheap ass beach sandals over top.

Who's ever heard of a snozzberry?
  • Comment on Desert troll (2010-08-16 14:57:12)
I enjoy a good trolling as much as the next guy. And drawing out people's gullibility is always a good laugh. (good night, sweet prince) However, the target here is dangerously misguided. Why would you want further destabilization in a country plagued by people who pray off of it. IF the goal of this campaign were achieved, that would only aid the Taliban, and in turn, potentially aid in the killing of more American and NATO troops. Just think about it for before you choose to exercise your right to free expression in this particular case.

  • Comment on Oldboy's Hall of Destruction (2010-05-28 16:51:33)
I'm a Cyborg but that's okay! So good. Oldboy is amazing and well worth the watch. What I want to know is whether Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is as good as Lady Vengeance. Opinions? Since we're on the subject, check out "The Chaser" (international English title) if you like Korean thrillers. Chugyeogja is the Korean title. "Battle Royale" is Japanese but also amazing. If you haven't seen it check it out.

Have you seen the Batmobile version of this vehicle? Same thing but with the bat symbol on the hood. I saw it on TV 'couple months back.

I have three Iranian friends (who don't know each other) who are all super nice. Some of the nicest guys I know actually.
  • Comment on Skycar! (2009-10-21 15:49:49)
From the Moller International website: "Actually a computer does the flying. The pilot need only move the controls in the direction he wants to go so that little skill is required. (Still for the time being, the operator will need to have a private pilot's license until the ease of operation and safety are thoroughly demonstrated.)"
  • Comment on More flying cars! (2009-10-21 15:35:18)
You win! The Seagull is definitely the hoax. Though the others are just prototypes. The top two need airstrips to take off and land so they are just planes that can travel on the road. Kinda lame. REAL flying cars are VTOL (vertical take off and landing) vehicles. The last car looks the coolest but the X-Hawk (2nd to last pic) is probably the farthest along technologically. It's based on a working model developed in the 60s, believe it or not. http://www.urbanaero.com/Technical_Info.htm

Artistic, horrific, literary, relevant, epic. 5 stars.
  • Comment on Dead Flies (2009-10-21 14:45:43)
Fantastic! Reminds me of some images I saw in an art book years ago. I'll keep the details a surprise and try to track them down to post.
  • Comment on Seven Samurai Movie Poster (2009-10-20 14:03:25)
If you haven't already, check out Ran (1985), also by Akira Kurosawa. It's a Samurai adaptation of the Shakespear play King Lear. It's awesome.
  • Comment on I want to live in a world (2009-10-20 13:28:26)
At first I thought this was a repost. Then I read who the quote was from and remembered where I'd heard this. Nice work on that pic. It turned out in the above-amateurish spectrum imo.
