I actually watched that whole movie, because, hey, sci-fi, aliens, and my home town… and you know what? I felt completely ripped off and pissed that I watched such a terrible film. And I downloaded it for free. Goddamn movie about whiny bitches having feelings and shit instead of dealing with alien invasion. Terrible film.
The first moment I knew it was going to be the worst movie ever was the torture/autopsy montage that taught them the stunning lesson to shoot it in the chest… Because I’m sure that the marines featured had so many problems aiming for center mass before that…
And then there are your valid complaints.
It was worth watching all the way through only because I had an excellent group of friends to MST3K the whole thing.

…the “of” makes all the difference…so glorious in its badness.
Battle: LA was also infintely better than Skyline.
Seconded. Battle: LA wasn’t great, but Skyline was eleven levels of suck.
What, that SyFy channel PoS? Comparing movies in theatrical release to movies produced for that fucking network is like comparing wine (no matter how cheap or bad) to convenience-store slushies.
