About half an hour before opening for business, employees at the Old National Bank branch in downtown Louisville gathered for a morning board meeting. Within a minute, five of them would become America’s latest mass shooting casualties.

    Part of his plan? Wouldn’t it have been a lot less work to write out the whole thing and publish it somewhere so we wouldn’t have to wade through all the reaction pieces?
