what the fruit are “curb feelers”
Curb Feelers are flexible metal pieces that extend from the right side of your wheel wells. When you car gets close to the curb, they make a horrible sound that lets you know that you are close to the curb.
what a crazy way to handle people not being able to properly drive. Were they inflexible and broken easily? I wonder how many of those being snapped off caused tire punctures.
I posted a photo for you. It was so people didn’t scuff up their wide white wall tires. And, most cars were ginormous back then, and most had manual steering, transmissions, and brakes.
