I actually had to d/l a search file app to do precisely this job. What a fucking awful system it is.
the lack of a built in file browser on default android is mind boggling.
Trying to get some of those files off my phone and onto my PC is also a god damn nightmare. “Nah, I don’t wan to connect to the PC. I don’t give a shit that you have the settings correctly tuned so that I should, I’m not going to!”
It is easier to just email those files to myself. Fucking awful.
the only way that i’ve successfully done this is to hook it up via USB, but even that requires some stupid button pression to get it there.
Oh, that is me trying with USB. It just refuses to let me access the phone through the PC. I have the setting for something like “allow file transfer” or whatever it exactly is set to “on” but still, nope. It doesn’t work.
