The package of labour reforms announced on Tuesday would also give gig economy workers more protections.

    Pretty cool. Thought it was going to be a reduction in the number of hours per week but it’s not. That’s what I’d like to see. A 32 or 35 hour work week. Hopefully we’d see a reduction in the number and frequency of meetings that could have been an email.
    There are a few companies here in the US that offer allowing people to work four 10 hour days currently but again, comes from the companies. Making it a law and available to all could help some folks out.
