This image has served as a background to the site for several years, many more than I would like to admit. It’s time for a change, so the site’s going to be going without a background from here on out.

I agree, but as I move forward with some minor site adjustments I can’t find a justification for a 300k image to be loaded every time someone hits the site, which is happening around 6,000 time a day
